This popular weekend event is returning to Hathersage on 13 and 14 May 2023. The event provides mountain first aid teaching to those who love the outdoors, whether you are a novice or have done first aid courses before, you will learn something.

Who is this event for?

Hosted by the British Mountaineering Council (BMC) and the British Mountain Medicine Society (BMMS) this event is for anyone interested in mountain medicine.  You might be a UIAA guide requiring CPD, a volunteer walk leader or an individual who wants to improve their knowledge. You are all welcome.

Programme

A variety of mountain medicine sessions will be delivered by national experts including; children & mountains, altitude & acclimatisation, avalanche medicine and ticks & lyme disease. On Saturday evening there will be a BBQ.
