Critical appraisal is integral to the 21st century healthcare professional's armoury. We are required to remain current & discern from the available body of literature what is sufficiently reliable to use to inform our clinical practice! The BMMS Journal Club aims to be an enjoyable & time efficient means of jointly dissecting & digesting literature pertaining to the practice of mountain medicine, provide opportunities for shared learning & academically rigorous CPD as required for our appraisal & revalidation.

This event will occur quarterly on a different week night. Each meeting will begin at 20:00 & last an hour. We will use MedAll (https://app.medall.org/c/the-british-mountain-medicine-society-bmms), a free & really convenient to use online platform that will allow you to register for & participate in the webinar & obtain a CPD certificate.

The selected publication will be of interest to mountain medicine practitioners & we will endeavour to make it available online one month in advance of the meeting. We will invite authors to attend, enabling them to discuss their work & answer any questions that the audience might have.
